Hemlock Woolly
Adelgid Treatment

Hemlock Woolly Adelgid is a prolific pest in western Pennsylvania affecting our state tree, the Eastern Hemlock. Easily identified by their bright white and “woolly” egg sacs, Hemlock Woolly Adelgid feeds on the twigs and needles of hemlock trees. While hemlocks can be considered resistant to invasive pests, heavy infestations and years of feeding can cause the trees to decline. We offer Hemlock Woolly Adelgid treatments that wipe out infestations to keep our hemlocks healthy and to diminish this invasive pest population in our area.

Spotted Lanternfly Treatment

The Spotted Lanternfly is a highly destructive and invasive pest that has entered the eastern part of Pennsylvania and is spreading west rapidly. Spotted Lanternfly has been identified in Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Beaver Counties and shows no sign of slowing down.

Although their main host is Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima), another invasive species; the Spotted Lanternfly feeds on a variety of species such as Walnut, Birch, Willow, Silver Maple, Red Maple, Oak, Pine, Elm, and many more. To get ahead of the threat that this pest poses we offer treatments to protect your desirable trees against Spotted Lanternfly as well as the removal of the invasive Tree of Heaven.
